Join our Team! Marshall County Hospital is committed to provide primary and certain specialty services with high quality care, concern, and dedication to the improvement of our facility. We are currently seeking a CMA or LPN to join a care team in our medical group practice.

JOB SUMMARY:
Be able to perform clinical skills in the medical care environment. Perform EKG's, basic lab tests, preparing and administering medications with physician's authorizations, and accurate legal documentation at all times. The LPN or CMA will provide direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs of the patients in accordance with physicians' orders, JCAHO, OSHA, nursing and department guidelines. The LPN or CMA fulfills these duties to contribute to the continuity and quality of care that fosters the best interest and well-being of all patients and their families.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide regular patient status updates to appropriate personnel.
Attend and participate in department/facility meetings, as required.
Act in compliance with hospital, regulatory and professional standards and guidelines.
Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities in order to maintain clinical currency.
Adheres to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs.
Utilize manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and effect productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Good patient management skills
•Knowledgeable of nursing duties
•Ability to assist in duties outside of specific duties
•Ability to communicate with physicians and staff both verbally and in writing
•Foster collaboration and team work

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in a clinic or doctors office preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Non restricted KY licensure for LPN or CMA
• CPR certification
