Emergency Room RN - Emergency Room ER

RN – Full-Time 11 am – 11-pm
Reporting and accountable to the Emergency Department Director, the Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
RN-ED-Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served within the Emergency Department. RN-ICU- Provides comprehensive intensive professional nursing care to critically ill patients in an Intensive Care or Cardiac Care Unit.
Special skills required of the Registered Nurse include professional demeanor, be customer service motivated and be able to communicate effectively with patients, family, and healthcare personnel. Must be a team player.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must possess a Registered Nurse degree through accredited program. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky, Current BLS Certification, ACLS & PALS or must obtain within one (1) year, CEN & TNCC preferred.
Keep abreast of changing standards regarding medication, medical technology, nursing procedures, and theory.
