Marshall County Hospital is the result of years of work and planning by the citizens of Marshall County. The first hospital opened in 1964 and our new facility became operational in 2009.

Approximately 250 employees staff the Marshall County Hospital and Ambulance Service.

 Notice of Invitation for Bids, MRI Project

Marshall County Hospital

Marshall County Hospital invites qualified, interested bidders to bid upon the construction of a new MRI addition to their main hospital facility located at 615 Old Symsonia Road, Benton, Kentucky.  Bidders must be healthcare certified. 

The work will consist of general, mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction and will be prevailing wage.  The addition is approximately 1400 sf with limited renovation and site work.  Interested bidders may acquire construction documents from the Marshall County Hospital Engineering and Maintenance Office from 7am to 3pm, between Monday, June 30, 2014 and Tuesday July 16, 2014 for a $200 per set refundable deposit.  The deposit will be refunded if the set is returned in good working condition.  The pre-bid meeting for this project will be held at Marshall County Hospital at 11am on July 15, 2014.  The bids for the project will be due and opened at 11am on July 23, 2014.  It is anticipated that construction will begin August 11, 2014.

We expect to break ground in August 2014 with services operational by December!  We are excited to offer this to our patients - no more driving long distances to receive a MRI!!
